Ragnaroek

Ragnarök means fight of the gods and giants, which results in the end of the world. The events happening include a long and harsh winter, the sun and moon disappear and the earth is shaking. Through the earth quake the wolf Fenrir can free himself from his chains and the Midgard serpent comes ashore. The air gets pestiferous by the venom from the snake and the wolf Fenrir spits fire. 

Everyone is involved in the big fight. Thor fights the against the Midgard serpent but dies from the venom while Odin fights against the wolf Fenrir but gets devoured. Odin’s son avenges him by killing the wolf...

A lot more is happening and in fact everyone dies at the end. So, there's no happy ending as in the movie Thor if someone has seen it (haven't seen it myself but just read a critique) ...
